For a booking report, incident record, or any releasable photo, use the Sheriff’s FOIL instructions. They route requests through the County Clerk’s Records Access Officer, then the Civil Office if a request is approved. The Sheriff Civil Division lists 518-853-5516 and hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays. The county directory lists a different Civil Office number, 518-853-5525, so verify the line before calling.
